Hi guys,

 

Recently my primary light key for ELS stopped working ("J").

Now in order to turn on my primaries, I have to press Alt + T to turn on Auto Mode, and then Q for the siren, press Alt + T again to turn off Auto Mode, and then press Q until my siren is off. My secondary light key works fine.

I have tried a GTA IV re-install and that didn't solve the problem (Then again that was a while ago)

Also, is it normal for other people in Multiplayer not being able to hear your ELS Sirens?

This is ELS V6 I'm talking about.

Any thoughts?

 

 

On another note, I recently tried installing ELS V7.

I copied the files to my GTA IV Main Directory, and went in game, and couldn't toggle anything, whether it was the Info Panel or primary lights.

At a point I thought it was going to work, but then my game froze and crashed.

Thoughts?

Bump.

I got ELS V7 working, but cannot turn on my primaries, due to the primary key issue mentioned before. The secondaries and takedowns work fine.

I tried changing the Primary key/ Lighting Stage key, to N (78) but it didn't work.

Also, will others in Multiplayer be able to see your ELS Lights as you see them on your screen?

I've watched a few YouTube videos where others' lights look the same as yours on your screen, and aren't lagging.

I've seen videos that for the person recording others' lights appear as they would on your screen, without the siren being active. (I think. I didn't hear a siren anyways)

Thoughts for the primary key issue, and if the ELS Lights will display correctly for others in MP?

Also, will the ELS V7 siren be able to be heard by other people in Multiplayer?

Does the primary key work out of game?; could potentially be a hardware problem.  Try a different keyboard if possible. 

 

Mods only work in multiplayer so long as the other players have the same ones installed. 

The primary key "J" (74 in ELS.ini) works fine out of game. (Tried my only other keyboard and the same problem)

And I'm just asking about the ELS Lights for other people.

I read a thread that says you can edit the ELS.ini so your computer tries to animate another person's lights when their siren is on.

However, a video I watched recently the lights of someone displayed fine for the person who was recording, but I heard no siren on the other vehicle.

Also, do you know if the ELS Siren is able to be heard by other people in MP?
