GTA IV crash on save load?

Featured Replies

This has bin going on all day. The game loads and all, shows the loading screen I even see Nikko ingame. About a second later the game crashes. The only time it didn't crash is when I got the UI bug (Nikko missing and the HUD missing) The moment I switched resolutions to fix the bug the game crashes. No error log just GTA IV has stopped responding.

I have these mods installed:

LCPDFR 0.95

ELS7

Braveheart's Policing Script

Indicator Script

Police Helper

Modded Defaults ELS car pack.

It worked yasterday but today it isn't. Is it something with Social Club not able to log me in?

I had something similar happen, it was because I had modded cars saved in my parking space. I've also had a few saved games do something like this, I just deleted them and started over and it pretty much fixed it.

Having the same issue...Worked fine this morning, and now crashes at the game loading Screen. Game was not saved, and no changes made to the vehicle.img

.

You can't save game while playing as a cop (LCPDFR activated).  You have to go to the police station, go off-duty, then turn off LCPDFR before saving the game.

You can save the game with modded cars, as long as you don't change the car while it's saved at your safe house.  If you have a noose cruiser parked, do not change that car until you move it off the safe house lot.  It will crash if you mod a vehilce that is currently parked at the safe house.
