Dear G17 Media,

 

My GTA IV game fails to start it. I've got a error log but to show u. When it gets to the CMD launcher it says that it fails to start!!!!!!

 

My game isn't currently working

Run the G17 Diagnostics tool and post the results.  Also, post your scripthook text file and system specs..  Don't attach the text files, use a spoiler tag or just copy and past to your message.  Most peeps will not DL an attachment from somebody we don't know.

 

Also, is your GTAIV a legit copy or pirated?

The G17 Diagnostics tool doesn't work... It crashes when it's on the topic/Component: .NET Framework 4.0. I run .NET framework 4.5....... is that the reason why it doesn't work??? Where's the scripthook text file and yes my GTA IV is legit. I bought it from EB Games Australia. I've got the system specs and the G17 Diagnostics tool crash save!

A bit off-topic : as DrDetroit said, don't attach those files. Just paste the content in a spoiler tag.

PDF and DOCX files can be infected files, some malwares/spywares/whateverwares are shared by PDF and (more rarely) DOCX.

And on the internet, a lot of people (including me) don't trust those kind of files when we are not sure about the source.

 

If you want help, do what he said about that. And, he's not asking if you have system specs, he wants to know what they are.

And be sure to :

1 - Untick "read only" on main game folder,
2 - Run LCPDFR installer as admin,
3 - Check that you have required components,
4 - Finish install and run the game as admin.
