Unable to create depth render target

Featured Replies

I installed GTA IV on my acer 5334 laptop windows 7 64 bit the game launched fine when i first installed. I didnt get to the first mission because of an update that closed the game. I figured since the game loaded that LCPDFR would work so I installed it through automatic installation. Then when I tried to launch the game it game up to a sound.dll error so I ran the game as an Admin and it started to launch and just before the yellow R* Logo it crashs with a fatal error thats says GTA IV FATAL ERROR unable to create depth render target make sure your video card meets or exceeds the required settings you can also try downloading directx and or updated drivers. Seems pretty explainatory to me but the game WORKED before I put LCPDFR on.

You need the first mission played through before putting on LCPDFR, I recommend a 100% save though. Try updating your drivers aswell.
