I didn't have this issue with older versions of Menyoo, but now, whenever I press the 'J' key while Menyoo is installed, my character suddenly stops and all movement inputs are reset. Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to fix it? (I know the error is caused by Menyoo because the problem goes away when I remove it.)

Did you change anything in your menyoo keybinds or settings?

You could try to remove and then replace all files, basically reinstall it

No,I didn't change any keybindings,and I even tried reinstalling,but the result is the same every time.However, I did notice something:normally, the "back to stock" and "random upgrades" options weren't in the vehicle modification menu of the legacy Menyoo, but they’ve been there for the last two versions. I had found a version of Menyoo for build 3778 online that didn't have those options, and there were no issues with the 'J' key. Perhaps the "Enhanced" version got installed instead; I'm not sure how to distinguish between the two.

Hey i just discovered that i also have this issue , it was tampering with ELS and Rich's Police Enhancements , could you please share the menyoo version you used to fix it ?

Are you using MCCallouts? If so, open MCCallouts.ini and change CalloutMenuKey = J under ; Menu key for callout settings to any other key.

I couldn't figure it out either; the version I mentioned getting to work was 3778. If you're still on that version, I can send it to you, but if you're on 3889, I don't have that one either.

No, I don't have those callouts either. I think I'll try installing all the mods again; I'll start by installing just Menyoo to see if the problem persists, and then I'll let you know.

I found it on the 5mod Menyoo page it was version 2.2.2 , thanks for finding that this version fix it.

idk i have my game still before the update but i guess it might work you should give it a try.

I think I figured out what's happening; it says "J key stops animations from InputBox," so that's likely the cause. Does anyone know how to turn this off?

You could check the keybinds and change the key which does it.

I finally found a solution. Go into the menyoostuff folder that you placed inside GTA V. Open the file named menyooConfig inside the folder, press Ctrl+F and type stop_animation_key in the search box. Normally it says 74, which corresponds to the 'J' key. Change it to 0 (this removes the command from the keys) and you will have solved this problem. Thanks to everyone who helped. (By the way, if you try to change it without entering the game after installing menyoo, you won't be able to find stop_animation_key when you search, at least I couldn't find it. Enter the game once, activate menyoo, then exit the game and do what I said.)
