Hello, simply put, PolicingRedefined is causing my LSPDFR to time out and soft crash. I currently have it, commondata and damage framework installed, as well as bluelinedispatch. Every crash I get is caused by a nullreferenceexception that happens when policingredefined attempts to draw from commondataframework, particularly regarding peds.

UNHANDLED EXCEPTION DURING GAME FIBER TICK

Exception type: System.NullReferenceException
Exception message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I get these stack traces before LSPDFR forcefully terminates.

I don't know how to fix this, as I have reinstalled LSPDFR, PolicingRedefined, CommonDataFramework, BlueLineDispatch, and DamageFramework and I can't get it to stop this null reference.

Do you have the latest RAGENativeUI installed? There is no sign of it in your log and it is a PolicingRedefined requirement. You can get it here: https://github.com/alexguirre/ragenativeui/releases

Yes. I have the most up to date RNUI installed. I can get the Miscellaneous Menu to open and function fine, though any actual interactions cause a crash, alongside an eventual crash without interactions.

As a diagnostic step, can you rename your mods folder to _mods and try it. Just in case there is any other mods that interact with peds.

Do you have any script mods installed?

My only script installed is RoadWorthy. The only DLCs I have installed are EUP, SUP, and a state wide car pack. The same crash occurred even with the mods folder deactivated. Additionally, this one occurred with no peds present, as Franklin, and in a vanilla patrol car.

Okay well at least we can rule the mods folder out. I would try without script mods temporarily as a diagnostic step. Do you have the RPH log from the crash as Franklin?

I will try the scripts now too.

Strange. The crashes are happening whenever PolicingRedefined tries to set a Ped's mood. Do you have any trainers installed with options enabled?

Just menyoo, but I haven't done anything with it's options. The same timeout is occurring even with menyoo uninstalled.

I would suggest reinstalling PolicingRedefined and its dependencies. You have probably already done that, but I'm not sure what else would be causing that issue. I would suspect an older version of CommonDataFramework but as you say you have the latest

As a diagnostic step, can you navigate to GTAV/plugins/LSPDFR/PolicingRedefined/Settings and open the InteractionSettings.ini. In the [Ambient] section set the 'Maximum amount of drunk peds that can exist at a time.' and 'Maximum amount of peds on drugs that can exist at a time.' to 0 and see if the crashing still happens.

If it does, then we know it is something else. If the crashing stops, then maybe you have found a PR bug.

with both set to zero, the crash still persists.

Please upload the new RPH log, hopefully it will give us a different error

Exact same timeout, this time, like many of the previous ones, it timed out when approaching an NPC and using T to initiate an interaction.

Yeah same error again, related to changing a ped's mood/behavior. Can you try with just PR, LSPDFR, and RPH installed, no other mods, and see if it still happens. At least we can rule out incompatibilities

Okay, can you try going to GTAV/plugins/LSPDFR/PolicingRedefined/Settings/ and delete all the files in the Settings folder. Run the game again and PR should generate new settings.

New settings were not generated. The folder remained empty after loading LSPDFR. LSPDFR terminated immediately after attempting to go on duty.

Okay, so PR is supposed to generate new files on launch, and it is crashing when trying to load the PedStopMenu, which makes sense considering the Ped interactions are causing the crashes.

Just to confirm, do your usergroups have full read/write permissions for the game folder? (folder properties > security tab).

I know you have already done it previously, but I would suggest reinstalling PR again.

If none of that works, it may be a case of contacting PR support, you don't have any conflicting mods, everything seems to be setup correctly. I've never seen this error in PR before
