hello when i start RAGE Plugin Hook, the loading screen just keeps spinning and nothing happens.The game does not properly start and LSPDFR does not load. No error message appears.Can you help me fix this issue?

Can you try loading into singleplayer normally first, and then start RPH and LSPDFR?

After please upload your latest RagePluginHook.log from your main game folder. If it does not generate a log, open commandline.txt in your main game folder and add -log to it, then load into singleplayer and start RPH again. It should then at least generate a RagePluginHookLauncher.log that you can upload

I have been trying to fix this all day without success. I will definitely contact support again tomorrow if needed. I used to play this a long time ago and really enjoyed it, so I would like to start again, but I can’t get it working.

I also tried launching RAGE Plugin Hook while the game is running, but it crashes and exits completely.

If you can explain anything that might help, I will definitely try it tomorrow. If it still doesn’t work, I will contact you again for sure in this same conversation.

1. Install LSPDFR to the latest version.

2. Read all installation instructions for steps 3 and 4.

3. Install the essentials to their latest versions: Script Hook V, RAGENativeUI, Gameconfig for Legacy & Enhanced V36 Safehouse in the Hills, fwBoxStreamerVariable, Packfile Limit Adjuster, HeapAdjuster, Resource Adjuster.

4. Install the mods one by one to check if any of them are broken. Install the plugins one by one as well to see if any of them are faulty.

5. Create an exception in Windows Security or in your antivirus for the Grand Theft Auto V folder and for RAGEPluginHook.exe, which is also located in the main folder.

6. Make sure you have the latest versions of the following: .NET Framework 4.8.1, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, and DirectX End-User Runtime. Also check that Windows and your graphics card drivers are fully updated.

7. Make sure the Grand Theft Auto V folder has all permissions enabled (Properties > Security).

TIPS: Go to OpenIV > Tools and make sure that ASI Loader, OpenIV.ASI, and openCamera are installed.

I’m not very experienced with computers, so I don’t really understand all the instructions. Could you please provide a video or a step-by-step visual guide? That would help me a lot, because I’m not sure what exactly I need to do.

It’s very easy. For step 1, you have a manual installation tutorial (click here). Click on the image: https://imgur.com/u7QoSpk.

For step 3, you need to open each link individually, download it, and read the installation instructions for each one. To install them, I recommend using OpenIV.

For step 5: If you have Windows 10 and you’re using Windows Security, go to:

Virus & threat protection → Virus & threat protection settings → Manage settings, then turn off:

• Real-time protection

• Cloud-delivered protection

• Automatic sample submission

• Tamper Protection

How to create an exclusion in Windows Security on Windows 10 or 11:

1. Open Windows Security:

   • Press Windows + S, type Windows Security, and open it.

2. Go to Virus & threat protection:

   • Click Virus & threat protection.

3. Manage settings:

   • Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings.

4. Add an exclusion:

   • Scroll down to Exclusions and click Add or remove exclusions.

   • Click Add an exclusion, then choose the type: File, Folder, File type, or Process.

   • Select the file or folder you want to exclude.

5. Confirm:

   • The selected item will now be excluded from real-time scans and other security checks.

This is useful for preventing Windows Security from blocking specific downloads or mods.

For step 6, click on the links, choose the latest version, and install it.

For step 7, right-click the Grand Theft Auto V folder, select Properties, then go to the Security tab and make sure each group has full permissions.

To install ASI Loader, OpenIV.ASI, and openCamera, download and install OpenIV, then go to Tools > ASI Manager and click to install all three.

You will use OpenIV to install mods.

Rename the mods folder to _mods and tell me if it works. If it does, it means one of the mods isn’t working, and you’ll need to uninstall them one by one to figure out exactly which one(s) are causing the issue.
