Zmodeler

Recommended Posts

I am attempting to add a rambar, lightbar, and dash lights into a few police cars that i have. I was tried to go through a few tutorials but none of them seemed to work. I have version 2.2.1

What exactly isnt "working" also use version 2.2.4

I now downloaded 2.2.4. don't see any difference.................. try to upload a vehicle and it says something like this file is locked and cannot be uploaded.

try to upload any parts (lighbar, rambar, etc.) and don't show up because they aren't wft files....rename them to make them wft files and they show up but the import button is grayed out and wont let you upload them

2.2.1 won't offer you what you need, you need to have at least version 2.2.4

I now have 2.2.4. but still have the same problem....read above comment from me for more details

1. Renaming a file doesnt change its type

2. Locked means locked. Look up unlocked models.

3. Google

As for z3d files, you can't import them Because it is a saved file. First you have to open the files then using the texture crowder add in the respective material then use the material editor to set the respective material for each material such that the model works. For light bars to work if they are z3d, do the same things as mentioned above however, you still need to know how to arrange the texture in he material editor. Use BxBugs' Whelen Justice as an example so that you can get things like EVI's Whelen Liberty to work. First import all the textures then import the justice. Then open the material editor and look in to each material of the justice and how the texture files are arranged it in each material. Then apply it to EVI's Liberty.

As Savior said, locked models are models locked by original authors so that the model cannot be edited at all.

Renaming a file will not change how Zmodeler registers the file mode. If it is a z3d and you rename it to wft Zmodeler still registers it as z3d.

I hope I helped!!!
