Texture loss on the freeway

Featured Replies

Hello, im dealing with so much bad texture loss only in one spot which is the spot next to the IAA building and pillbox on the Freeway. I have reinstalled the game 3 times and the same issue occurs, i have installed heap adjuster and resource adjuster and also packlifelimit adjuster. I also installed the latest game config and it still shows the same texture loss. I have uninstalled lspdfr and the textures are working but whenever i install lspdfr and go to that location it shows the textures missing or the lights posts are invisible and it just shows the yellow light in the air I have also change the preload to false.

please someone help!
ITS ONLY IN THIS AREA HERE

You can try this if you haven’t tried it yet:

  • V-Sync: Turn it off. It can cause delays in texture loading.

  • Texture Quality: If it is set to "Very High," lower it to "High."

  • Distance Scaling & Population Variety: Reduce these sliders to 50%. These consume a lot of CPU power and memory in the downtown area.

If you feel that I’ve been helpful, a simple “thank you” is enough. 🙂

Nothing jumping out in the log anyway.

Do you have vehicle mods installed? This can happen with high-poly vehicles spawning around the map, and if it's only happening with LSPDFR running it could be a police vehicle causing it

Not at all, I find it that when I installed the heap adjuster and the resource adjuster it causes it and i have upgraded to the latest game config so im so stuck on what it is, its only in that area my textures are fine everywhere else...

If you're not using any vehicle mods then you likely don't need the adjusters. Does it work fine without them?

I just tried single player again and that area has no texture loss, i tried not using the adjusters but then i get a error for memory

How much GPU memory do you have? Could try the option to ignore memory limits but if you don't have a lot that could cause more issues

16gb

Should be fine then. Make sure GPU drivers are up to date

Do you have any other mods apart from LSPDFR and RPH installed?

Nope I only have the Heap adjuster and packlifelimitAdjuster

Try with just heap adjuster, packfile limit adjuster is no use to you if you don't have any addon vehicles installed.

You can also try adjusting the heap size in the .ini file

What should the heap size be? because i have it set to 2048

I believe the default is 600 or 750. I don't think there is any correct size, it depends on how much you need really, but LSPDFR itself shouldn't be causing it. Do you have any custom commandline arguments in RPH?

No i have no custom commandline arguments
