On Duty Crash

Featured Replies

Hi, I installed LSPD First Response (Enhanced Preview) 0.4.9 (Build 9476) - Enh 1013.29, then I installed LSPDFR Enhanced: REMASTERED (MASSIVE update) 1.4.0.0, but the game keeps crashing in two situations. First, when I start story mode (my LSPDFR character appears in an apartment) and go to any police station, enter and select "On Duty," it loads briefly and then crashes. The second situation is when I load story mode (my LSPDFR character appears in an apartment), press F4, enter the command "ForceOnDuty," press F6 to open the menu and load or create a new game, and then after leaving the airport area in any direction, it crashes. I tried unchecking the tutorial box, but it still crashes.

Did I do something wrong with the installation? Because in the YouTube video tutorial, it says to first install LSPD First Response 0.4.9 (Build 9476) - GTA 3751, which I believe is the Legacy version, and then in Step 6 install the Enhanced version.

Hello, I'm not sure if LSPDFR Enhanced is actually compatible with LSPDFR for GTA V Enhanced, it just has a similar name.

Did you make sure to install all dependencies?

This doesn't sound right at all, installing two different LSPDFR versions is sure to cause problems. Only install the LSDPFR versions appropriate for your game, in this case the Enhanced Preview version.

Oh, I think that might be the problem. I was confusing them and installed the Enhanced Remaster version, and then I also installed the Enhanced Preview version.

I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling GTA V. Which version do you recommend for this: the Remaster version (downloading Legacy) or the Enhanced Preview version (downloading GTAV Enhanced)?

I would go for the GTA V Enhanced version because of the graphical improvements, but the LSPDFR compatibility is what I'm not entirely convinced about.

No worries! It is quite confusing to be fair.

I personally use enhanced for normal gameplay and GTA:O, and keep legacy for mods but that is just my preference.

At the moment, it seems a lot of mods and/or vehicle mods are unstable or incompatible with GTA V Enhanced, so it may be more unstable for modding, but it does run better, looks better, and has a smaller footprint on your hard drive.

LSPDFR works fine on GTA V Enhanced, I tested it myself, but othe rmods may not be as compatible.
