ultimate backup eup issue

Featured Replies

This is a little hard to explain, but hear me out. I've made some changes with the uniforms and accessories of my Ultimate Backup units in the XML files (e.g bodycams, mics etc.) While my units do come with these modifications whenever I call for backup using the Ultimate Backup menu, the standard LSPDFR backup units and ambient cops spawn in with the base Ultimate Backup EUP uniforms. Again, this isn't too big of an issue but it would definitely help to understand what's going on. As it stands I don't have a video or image of this issue, but I'm working on it.

So... I basically can't give you any right answer, just to say that, from my part, some ELS working with UB, but some don't, for exemple I used a car without ELS and it's working, and also some of my cars like the Police, Police2, Police3, FBI, FBI2, working, but for the addons, it's seems that the ELS not working, except addons cars with no ELS.

For starters, ambient units will spawn using LSPDFR's default backup, so if you want those changed, you'll need to edit them as well using its own format. It is 0 based however, unlike UB, so if a shirt is 191 in UB, then it would be 190 in the default LSPDFR ini. So you would open agency in lspdfr/data and in there you would change the departments. I have provided an example below of what my sheriff unit uses.

<Ped inventory="patrol" comp_uppr="11" comp_lowr="86" comp_tex_lowr="6" comp_feet="51" comp_accs="37" comp_task="53" comp_teef="8" comp_jbib="190" comp_tex_jbib="2">MP_M_FREEMODE_01</Ped>

comp_uppr refers to arms, comp_lowr = pants, etc. You will notice comp_jbib is set to 190, whereas in UB the shirts are 191. That is what I mean, so any number you have set in UB you would subtract 1 from it for the lspdfr ini.

This helps a lot! However, when I check agency in lspdfr/data, I can't find the same inventory and outfit slots that were present in the ultimate backup XMLs. Again, I'm not very tech savvy.

Here's a picture of what I see for example when I try to edit:
