The 6770 will run GTA IV on all high settings with no lag?

Also with no lag while recording videos?

Link for the 6770?

Hmmm

I'll have to find an online payment method, or get a parent to buy it for me. :P

Or just give me a ride to town, and look through the computer stores for that Graphics Card.

Hopefully, I can find one.

I mainly need the lag to be eliminated.

I've lived with it this long, but it's slowly pissing me off. :P

So either one of those cards you gave me a link to, will work and eliminate my lag completely, at medium or high settings?

Reminder that my average of 18-23 FPS is lag for me. :P

Best,

KRI

Edit: In a review this card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161387) said on the box a recommended 450 W or greater PSU.

In a review this card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150661) was said:

Only requires a min of 450 watt psu/600 watt in CrossFireX mode (on the box)

Like I said I wouldn't go below 6770, And that It's a-lot better then the one that you using now. it will run on medium settings if you are recording and using Skype, If you not using Skype and other software and Just Fraps, then Turn the settings up higher

Whenever I get to recording, I will only have GTA IV and FRAPS open.

Nothing else.

Also, see my edit on my previous post... :S

you wont get a "powerful" graphics card that will work with a 300w power supply... however the most powerful card that will work with that psu is the "MSI R6670-MD1GD5 Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card"( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as… )

MSI HD 6670 1024MB DDR3 VGA DVI HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card ( http://www.ebuyer.com/366478-msi-amd-hd-… ).. this is one of the best cards that will run with a 300w psu ... it has a 800mhz core clock and 1gb of gddr3 memory running at 1334mhz effective... theres also 480 stream processors and a 128bit memory interface ..... in terms ofperformance this will run the latest games at medium detail... which isnt too bad considering its price

I will try find the 6770 Graphics Card you linked me to before.

But, will either of those 6770's work with my PSU?

Like I mentioned in my edit, one in a review said that a 450 W or greater PSU recommended was on the box.

Other one said: "Only requires a min of 450 watt psu/600 watt in CrossFireX mode (on the box)" on the box.

So, you can understand my skepticism about looking at buying either one of those 6770's you linked me to.

the highest card you might run is 6770 (NOT all  6770 runs AT 450W) -There are ones at 100 or more-ish  , and so you will might be looking for an card that is lowest then that!!

research the following

1. has to be 100w card

2. has to be lower the 6770

OR spend more to get and new 500w PSU, and run an higher card _BUT you don't want to go that fair,

You won't find a card that can run GTA on high that wouldn't require 450 - 500W PSU.

It looks that if you want a card that would work for you, you'd also have to upgrade your PSU.

BEAST, Yea I like the sound of that, and that I do have an 1200W PSU, to run my SLI 680 cards

so there are 3 things that I thought of that you can do, EASY

1. Get an card that runs on 100w -like the 6670 or below that -BUT it won't run GTA on high settings, more like low settings

2. to run an 6770 and up to an 7850, you need to upgrade your PSU to an 500w, and maybe your memory 'at the moment you have 8gb    (which is Okay) it's going to cost around $250 to $400, to upgrade the PC -To run GTA IV at an high settings with scripts

-PSU $74.99 http://www.acer.com.au/ac/en/AU/content/model-datasheet/DT.SKNSA.006

3. Your PC cost Around $995 when it was new, Have you thought of selling it for $900, and getting an better PC, (build your own maybe).

if you sell it on eBay for $1000, and add your $300 on top of that, you have Around $1300 to spend on an better budget gaming PC that can run GTA iv and more games like Black-ops MW3, at really good settings,

^^^^^^^^

I just got the PC, so parents say no I'm not getting a new one, or selling this one, for a long time. :P (Even though it'd be my money, it's still no)

I'll have to find a Graphics Card that'll run on 100W or lower on max load, or contact our local computer guy.

He used to work for a computer center, is retired now, but still works on computers for people.

I'll contact him to discuss some computer things as well. :P

Then Rage at your parents, It's your money, so you can do what you want to do, You own your own clan, and that you don't have the PC to do max out gaming. your local computer guy, will say the same, Get an upgraded PSU '500w' to run an good GPU Card or get an new $1300 budget gaming PC.

your local computer guy. Might do an deal, or maybe get an Better Pc -He might ask your parents to give you what you want.

people all ways take an no for an answer, so keep at it to your parents, till they say yes,

I have an Mate that has really raged at his parents, and after so and so weeks or months he got what he wanted -And he owns the bay-side clan, he has planed to sell the desk-top and his "shitty laptop on eBay and get over $3000, to buy an gaming PC
