Build opinions

Currently in the process of purchasing a PC with an RTX 5070 & Ryzen 7 7700x (full build specs attached as screenshot).

Wondering if this is a good pairing, any changes or suggestions and is it good value?

I assume this would run LSPDFR w plugins, graphics, vehicles, etc pretty smoothly considering I’m upgrading from a GTX 1660 which can achieve 45-50FPS with Reshade & plenty plugins/add-ons

Thanks!

Build cost £1200

I’m not an expert regarding PC parts but you should absolutely be able to run GTA V (both enhanced and legacy) comfortably with mods. 32GB of ram is great, maybe you can go for 6000mhz? In order to future proof your build you might want to take a stronger PSU which wouldn’t cost a lot more.

Can’t say anything about the motherboard nor the CPU.

I'm pretty sure the CPU I've chosen only supports up to 5200MHz RAM.

Not too worried about the PSU, as I've been suggested a 750W should be sufficient, but then again I'm also no expert haha

  •  Case: tbh I'm not sure about this one imo it would be better to go with smh that have better air-flow instead almost full built-up with glass

  •  Motherboard: definitely to change... supports only to 16GB ram so rest of your build don't have sense with that one

  •  CPU: ok, seems good enough

  •  Cooler: hard to say cuz I didn't use this kind of coolers for ages but should be enough for this cpu

  •  RAM: 5200MHz CL40 - too slow... also no info about support for amd expo - imo totally wrong choice

  •  GPU: if you wanna use this pc only for gaming - I would reconsider to take radeon 9070XT (xfx mercury for example) - cost not much more but have much more performance

  •  SSD: I can suggest here Lexar NM790 2TB - I'm using it smh around 2,5 year and still works great. Also it have better load/save speed and its not slowing down after you have more than 80% space taken

  •  PSU: no specifics from your side so its hard to correct.. 750W should be enough but what brand etc?

Not sure what you mean by the Motherboard only supporting 16GB of RAM? If you could elaborate, that would be great, thanks:)
