Which cars did the K9 units of LAPD used during the 90's ?

Featured Replies

Currently modding my LSPDFR current playset as a mid 90's era. I've finished to mod, edit and install most of the cars, uniforms, weapons, backup, etc., but,I was wondering which cars did the LAPD used back then, like maybe special symbols like on today's k9 cars, etc..

I know for sure that K9 units appeared in the 80's, but don't find any photos online of old school k9 cops with their vehicle.

Thanks for the reply !

Did you know maybe if they had special "K9" symbols on it ? Or were there blank doors bending in like their main patrol car ?

LAPD K-9 units back in the mid 90's were usually unmarked units there were some black and white units but usually no K-9 specific markings like today's units

full rear cage , seats were removed . rubberized flooring , ventilation fans window guards and a remote door popper (early version in the 90's) hope this helps
