Looking for a Police Car Pack that's based on default GTA Online Vehicle Files with ELS compatibility. 

For Short: Game included Vehicle-Models (New, High Quality) as Police Cars. 

 

For Example: 

Buffalo STX as "Police2" instead of a real Charger Model, having all the up-to-date lightning systems we can find on newer vehicle mods while being visual wise lore friendly.

 

Possible vehicles models that came to my mind: Rhinehart, Tailgater S, XLS, Oracle

You're probably looking for lore vehicles (in-game agencies and car brands). However, the majority of those don't support ELS. 

Yeah I searched the last couple hours for some lore vehicles that are ELS compatible on lcpdfr and gta5mods and didn't even found one..

Almost all of them were made for FiveM and also are Add-On's instead of Replacements.

 

How does it come that no one made such a mod?

I mean is it like impossible or really complicated that's so time-consuming that it would not be worth it, given the demand?

Kinda surprised.

Also searched for tutorials how to turn addons into replacements and how to add ELS to Non-ELS vehicles but coudln't find one or a good explanation.

I honestly can’t tell you if ELS to NON-ELS is possible. 
 

How come nobody makes ELS lore cars? No clue but the people that use these cars just prefer non ELS or some of them even DLS. 
If I was you, I’d just use some good quality ELS cars or forget about using ELS and install a ton of addon packs from 5Mods. There are some really good creators uploading to that site.

I actually started making ELS lore cars a while back, but I only got as far as the police stanier and work took over, so it slipped by the way side. I could always pick it up again.

Seems like I don't have any other choice but to go for modern high quality car mods since ELS is something I can't just get rid of. Makes the game so more immersive and realistic. In fact, do you know of any good vehicle mods that would work well with physical car mods like DriveV also being rich in details and function? (I browsed the top downloaded files a couple times but didn't find a "gem"). Thanks for your replies and help though Lennyy!

 

@Keith. That really looks great! Especially the lore friendly livery. But unfortunately not really what I am looking for, I had enough of seeing the default vanilla police cars like police, police2 and police3. Just want some original vehicles that were added to gta online by R^* as emergency vehicles like the Buffalo STX as they are more detailed and higher in quality compared to the vanilla cars. Otherwise if there would be a pack including the vanilla ones and added DLC vehicle models from R^* that are compatible with ELS, it would be something I would go for.

As far as my experience goes when using ELS cars, the most downloaded ones aren't the best quality-wise sometimes. If you are happy with the cars, I'd pick a pack from a good developer and install more from them. Look at recently uploaded packs with a decent amount of downloads instead of just sorting by most downloaded of all time.

However, in that case, I'd honestly go for lore cars from 11John11 for example (GTA5Mods.com) and ditch ELS. You'll get used to not having it

Saw his work yesterday and was so happy, maybe i'll consider it, but ELS is just too good. 😅
