Give custom installed car the ability to perform a traffic stop

Featured Replies

I have looked through the forum and can't seem to find an answer to this. Sorry if it's already been answered!

I have installed a custom car into GTA V LSPDFR using OpenIV. The car itself works absolutely fine.

My issue, is that I want the LSPDFR mod to recognise this vehicle as a police vehicle, so that I can perform traffic stops, activate mods (such as ALPR Lite), and other features that require a police vehicle.

How can I achieve this?

(Again, I'm apologising now. I couldn't seem to find any forum entries for this specific issue, and so please just point me in the right direction if there is a solution to this!)

You'll need to add two flags to the vehicles meta entry of the car in order for the game to recognize it as an emergency vehicle. These are:

FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT
FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE

Also make sure the vehicle class is set to VC_EMERGENCY.
