Since the update, shortly after starting it says that GTA is already running, but that's not true and that's it.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

No matter if RPH or directly Steam, GTA or something

have the same issue right now. verifying through steam doesn't fix the error.

i have the same issue. I have been reading on the internet. Try removing the Dinput8.dll and it should work. Only thing is this file is making mods possible so i think we have to wait until someone updates the dinput8.dll file.

jeez. it is the dinput8.dll. so how we gonna play lspdfr now

so the scripthook is oudated because gta v updated again 3411, so we're gonna wait again.

The only reason I still play this old game is lspdfr. I wonder when R* will leave us, the modding community, alone. 😅

That's right, after deactivating Dinput8.dll it works.
And yes, Script Hook V needs to be updated again, as GTA was updated again today.

I usually get this error because GTA V does not always close after you exit the game. Look in task manager under background processes and see if Grand Theft Auto V is running as a task.

Yes, I have already read about the task manager elsewhere. But no process from GTA is displayed twice, so I was surprised about that too.

Yeah, the same issue. The whole day wasting time on different ways to fix it. Thanks rockstar for this shit, we have already waited for 3 days to get updated ScriptHook and now again. Thanks R* for everyday`s updates.

scripthook was updated on their site however dinput8 was and is the issue for. I removed it from files and rand Gta v and lspdfr (base) however simple trainer and els not working due to dinput8 issue

Yeah is the dinput.dll of scripthookv you have an over version

for this try to delete old version scripthookv in your folder and with the new script folder take just the scripthookv not dll

because is not correctly fonctionnal 

 

and dl the dinput8 and paste on your folder gta v maybe is good after that but the mods for me doesn't work

@zedkaPlease refrain from posting those links again. I have already removed multiple of them.

@Shwagins49ScriptHookV has not been updated yet. It was updated for the first update that happened a few days ago, but has not been updated for the lastest GTA V update that occurred about a day ago.
