hi, i just reinstalled gta iv, and i log in on rockstar thing but it wont start the game? any help?

Did you go in your game file and click RunGTAIV as a Administrator?  

yes it wont start.

Have you tried reinstalling it again?

Sometimes when I reinstall my IV the old GTA IV folder is still in there, so that means that you are just reinstalling it for nothing..

I had the same problem aswell, sadly the only fix I could find is reinstalling the game.

 

tbh I am glad I reinstalled, I now have a much more stable game.

And remember after you uninstalled to go in your program files and delete the GTA directory like Carrythxd said

Odd, you sure you ran LaunchGTAIV.exe as admin?

 

Make sure you are in the games root and run both GTAIV.exe and LuanchGTAIV.exe as admin.  Then to play gta4, you will need to run LaunchGTAIV.exe as admin every time.

 

If it still persists, do what everyone else is saying, do another reinstall.  Of course, as the last two posters said, make sure the Grand Theft Auto IV folder is completely gone before installing after the uninstall.

Ok guys ill reinstall it but ive done 2x. :( but ill try to make sure to delete everything.

i got it now it went to propertys and changed the comp. menu.
