Problem with GTA 4 lag

Featured Replies

Hi I've been playing GTA 4 for a while and about a week ago i had an update for my graphics card (Nvidia) and ever since then my game is practically unplayable. It lags and i only get like 2-3 FPS. So I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and have found a work around for it. If there is a work-around for this problem please give me the solution:( I miss playing LCPD:FR and all my car mods (and before you say take my mods out. I've tried it with and without my mods... It still lags like hell)

I've Googled this problem and a few others have had problems with it on both AMD and Nvidia.

if it was a software update, you can try rolling back to the previous update (it is known that some updates break more than they fix), this could be your only solution for now.

so how do i downgrade ?

You can roll back to the previous drivers from the Device Manager, if not then you'll have to find the previous driver version and google for a download link to the previous driver.
