What is a good software to record with and take screenshots with free or need to pay either or I need a better one cause Bandicam doesnt work screen records black, Fraps well you know, and Dxtory ehh....

Bandicam works fine(I was there with your same situation).

 

Run it in the non-target mode(the one that says you must switch modes to record).

Set your hotkeys

Minimize Bandicam

Launch GTA.

What do you mean non-target mode?

Your bandicam will have a rectangle on the top of it(not way top). 

I have not used bandicam in ages so I am not sure terms.

 

You click on the rectangle and you have like Direct X mode and another mode or something like that.

 

Choose the one that will not put a rectangle on your screen. The one you choose should tell you to change modes to record. DO NOT change modes.

Simply set your hot keys and minimize. Launch GTA

Fraps?

You can't record with fraps it sucks when you record it doesn't use your graphics card I believe so it's not getting the best quality.

Fraps actually is the best editing program, because it does not compress the video footage. So you get the best and highest quality recordings, however the sheer file size that the video material is, quickly becomes a problem for small harddrives and hogs system ressources (which causes a drop in fps). Fraps really only is good if you're willing to spend the 30 bucks for it and you've got a decent enough PC to run it without lag and without HDD space problems.

msi afterburner...its free and can record for however long you want and you can also take pictures
