LSPDFR crashes when manually load plugin

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm on a fresh install after the 3179 update, no mods, everything worked fine before the update. I would always manual load plugins now this time LSPDFR crashes every time I load it up. I can run the game fine without Rage, I've add an exception to the Windows Defender for the GTA directory. I can't figure it out.

The Rage Log, shows some sort of permission issue?

[4/21/2024 8:31:22 AM.847] LSPD First Response: Exception type: System.UnauthorizedAccessException
[4/21/2024 8:31:22 AM.847] LSPD First Response: Exception message: Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr\stats.dat' is denied.

This file isnt even there or in the manual install folder.

Any advice appreciated. I feel i spend more time trying to fix this game then play it

Thanks

Set access permissions for whole gta5 folder (right click at gta5 folder -> security and there you have to set full access permissions for system, admin and users -> click on system then edit button and check "allow" for everything and same with rest)
