Does anyone else have problem, where when you want to takedown a suspect, he is glitching between the animations, so you cant arrest him? Is there any fix to this problem? I only use Ultimate Backup and Radio Realism as mods.

Stop aim at suspect for a moment and let him move a bit (1-2 steps) and then try again stop him... sometimes it just glitch (or you are trying to take down this ped when ped-cop also trying do it then you can:

  • let ped-cop arrest him
  • turn off possibility for ped-cops to take care of npc - if I remember good it will be somewhere at UltimateBackup.ini or STP.ini)

That glitch occurs whenever the NPC cops are trying to arrest the same suspect you're trying to arrest - with ultimate backup installed I assume, vanilla LSPDFR probably doesn’t have this glitch.

Stop aiming at the suspect and let them arrest him/her, or end the pursuit manually via pursuit menu then arrest the suspect.
