Help with NY clan

Featured Replies

This is not an advertisment!

Hi guys im creating a new clan, its going to be NY based so theres going to be FDNY and NYPD etc but im wondering what do you guys look for when joining a clan and what do you like doing when your roleplaying.

I could really do with someone who knows quite a lot about EMS or Fire depts to help me get started as I only know law enforcement stuff :P

Would it be possible for someone to also test out my Teamspeak server to see if its actually working :)

Thanks!

Police 2 : 03 Impala or CTB Impala (2006 I think)

Polpat : Tahoe (Marked)

Noose : Highway patrol : (Definitley using)

FBI : Not sure,reccomendations?

Whenever we do our patrols we just tell people to download the vehicles via the TeamSpeak File Browser, I think as-long as you do that you don't need the authors permission.

I love a lot the NYPD/FDNY so I think that i will be able to help you , first if you want to creat something that looks like in real life use the ELS-H crown vic , chevy impala with LED dashboard . If I can join , send me a PM and I will help you more

You still need permission to upload and share files that are from other authors.

Dammit, some of the cars I was hoping to use are from modders who are no longer active :/

Thanks for sending in your application,I will speak to you over on the site ;)

You should have the PolPat and NoOSE as the NYSP imo.

Interesting to see your creating an NYPD clan, ironically these are few to come by.

Anyway here is my setup that I found best use of while I was using NYPD (I matched them up to their original intended roles):

Police Patrol:   '06 Chevrolet Impala 9C1 (RMP)

Police Cruiser: '04 Ford CVPI (RMP)

Noose Patriot:  '07 Chevrolet Tahoe (HWP/Borough TF/ESU)

Noose Cruiser: '08 Dodge Charger (HWP)

Noose Stockade: Lenco Bearcat (ESU)

Police Stockade: '05 GMC Savanna Van (Borough TF)

FIB Buffallo: '04 Ford CVPI (Detective/Unmarked RMP)

(You might want to find another slot for the GMC Savanna though as the Police Stockade slot only lets 2 people fit in any car inside it, perhaps swap the Noose Cruiser and Police Stockade around in the vehicles.ide and get them to use their opposite handling etc.)

That setup right there I found was a good balance between realism and functionality, you can find the car models all over the place, there are ELS and non-ELS versions of them out there too.

IMO keep it NYPD/FDNY only as NYPD has multiple roles enough to satisfy your needs and NYSP would just mix it up a bit. (Although it would be good for Alderney.)

Interesting to see......

"ironically these are few to come by"

Thats why I made it a NY clan because theres not a lot so its going to attract more attention and well...because I love New York XD

Thats quite a good list and its quite close to what im "sorting for the clan".

However for the Nstockade slot im thinking of using Luxarts ESU van with an NYPD skin that im working on and then for the Pstockade im going to be using an Unmarked suburban so that it can be used within the FDNY aspect aswell (Could be used for the Chief etc)

I recommend you go with using the GMC Savannah van in the Police Patriot slot then. AFAIK they are much more widely used in the NYPD than the Tahoes (which are only used in specialist roles IIRC).

City police use vans alot, its usually always the same case in all big cities, in London the police use vans alot, they are sort of an extension of the normal response cars but carry extra officers, and can be seen on call all the time - because of the high population, there is a need for units with increased officer numbers patrolling in the same vehicle. I am guessing its the same case in NYC, as I have seen a fair amount of videos of them using it.

If you need TeamSpeak help with permissions or whatever, I've screwed with TeamSpeak enough to basically know permissions inside and out, so hit me up with a PM if you ever do.

  • 2 weeks later...

If you are going to make a online clan and want people to be able to play. Do your self a favor and use NON-ELS CARS  Or make the Police and Police 2 non els then the other cars ELS. Because ELS cars are usually high poly which will end up in games crashing...

well crap I really need to start reading the entire thread before I go posting....

You do not need permission to USE them, but you DO need permission to RE-UPLOAD them calling them your mods.

- Just saying. Not saying your wrong though

Everything needs more lights.
