my game keeps crashing on the loading screen, and i've done everything to update everything but im starting to think that it is a plugin that is causing the crash, could that be why?

try using your plugin folder and renaming the LSPDFR folder "LSPDFR_" if it loads and doesn't crash it's definitely a plugin issue. I currently know these plugins work so far

1. Clear the Way V

2. Vocal Dispatch

3.CompuLite

4. Ultimate Backup

5. Deadly Weapons

6. Super Callouts

7. Foresty Callouts

8. 686 Callouts

 

And I believe many more, I suggest putting 1 plugin at a time (unless it's any of the ones I mentioned) so you can verify what the problem is.

If you provide your RagePluginHook.log from the main directory in a reply, someone, if not me, can take a look and determine that for you. However, with the newest update, it seemed to break your mods folder. 

 

However, you can still test to ensure the mods you have installed still work. (I would make backups of these in the event that it is just a plugin causing issues with your game). Tryout the following;

1. Rename your mods folder to _mods and try loading the game. If this works, it is likely the update broke your mods folder. Try the following:
   1. In mods/update, delete update2.rpf and try loading the game. If this works, there is no need to proceed to the next step. 
   2. Open the main directory and locate the update folder. Open this and copy the update.rpf located inside (not the 2nd one if it is there). 
   3. Visit mods/update again and paste that copied update.rpf into that folder and try loading the game again.
2. Launch the game without RPH. Try launching it through your platform to see if you can get into story mode. If not, verify the integrity of your game files.
