As soon i load up GTA V it instantly crashes and multiplayer does not load either, fyi i own the rockstar launcher version of GTA

- rename mods folder to _mods to disable it from loading

- do you use lml (lennys mod loader)?

- otherwise remove dinput8.dll temporarily to disable .asi files

@OfficerChris1Followed the steps above but unfortunately the same outcome occurred well actually slightly worse for multiplayer the game does not start up on and doesent sit on my task bar yet its showing its running in task manager and on the launcher it just says "Exit Game" and for single player when launching through ragehook it says "Waiting for game window" and again doesent open the game up as an application but shows its running in task manager

Update!

 

I randomly thought of the idea of reloading a save of the previous version of the game and updating it again and miraculously my game all of the sudden works now so i dont know if this is a fix but it could be?, So to be clear for others who have this issue i had already updated my game and lspdfr to the latest patch but i was still crashing so i disabled my norton anti virus and luckily i had saved a backup of the last version of the game so i reverted it to the previous version in ragehook then re-updated the game again in the rockstar launcher and suddenly the game worked for the first time since the update 😮‍💨
