CVPI grill/bumper question

Recommended Posts

Can someone explain to me what those 4 tabs are in the bottom of the grill? I'm trying to put them on my next CVPI and it would be nice to know what they are and if they are part of the grill or part of the bumper. Are they colored according to the color of the car? Pics below for reference

They are apart of the grill I think. I have no idea what they do but I'm pretty sure they were only fitted to the 2011 Ford Crown Victoria's? My guess is that they help keep the front intact after ramming a subject vehicle.

Those four white tabs help secure the grille (grille tabs insert into).

Thats exactly what I needed to know. +1 And they are colored according to the color of the vehicle? i.e. they match the color of the car or bumper in the case of a black/white?

Not always... but for aesthetics sakes, I would match the color to the cars primary color or grille color.

Gotcha, I'll map it to the template and then it can just be changed to whatever people wish
