LSPDFR - Missing textures in Rockford Hills

Featured Replies

Hello guys,
I am currently dealing with an interesting problem. I was not playing LSPDFR for a while (maybe one month). After the last GTA V update, I was playing only normal SP (with mods). Everything was fine until I tried to run LSPDFR.

During the first spawn, I found there were lots of textures missing in Rockford Hills. Almost all of Rockford Hills is missing. You can see on the video:

I am using a lot of mods, so my first idea was to install "Resource Adjuster", but the problem is still the same. I've also set

Main.PreloadAllModels = false

in lspdfr.ini, but this was also not helpful. I don't know if this can be caused by a combination of some mods with LSPDFR (I am using a lot of mods), but in SP everything is working fine.

I've also realized, that after the "Resource Adjuster" installation the game started tearing up a little bit (but this is not the problem now). Today I downloaded NVE, ScriptHookVDotNet, and LSPDFR again, and reinstalled all of these to be sure, there was no problem during the installation.

Here is some info about the versions:

GTA V v. 1.0.3028.0
RPH v. 1.106.1330.16514
LSPDFR v. 0.4.9
NVE Single Player Beta - October 10th, 2023 v2

I assume, that my PC should not be a problem, but here is my build:

Intel Core i5 12400 (6 cores, 12 threads,  2,5 GHz,  4,4 GHz in Turbo Mode)
32GB RAM DDR4
RTX 4070 - 12GB VRAM
Samsung EVO 980 PRO  2TB

Is anybody able to help me, or at least give me some hints, please? I am out of ideas. Thank you. 🙂

I'm having this exact same problem, same setup and everything. I tried removing NVE but that had no effect. I think it may be related to something outdated. I think best chance at this being fixed is waiting for a new version of GTA to release or something, I guess for now no rockford hills calls unfortunately.

Try renaming your mods folder to _mods
Then try start your game again.

@Mrsuperx13

Yes, without the mods folder it was working well (I was able to see only my car, and one meter in front of me, because of some NVE filters installed in the mods folder, and now missing, but I was able to see textures and models in lower angle of camera).

It is pretty obvious, that NVE is at fault here (also because except for NVE only mods installed in the mods folder are car mods, not affecting the environment).

There is an uninstaller for NVE but looks like it is uninstalling only the main package files (because even when I launched it, the problem was still there). I will try to uninstall NVE addons one by one, and we will see.

Ok, I finally found a solution.

First of all, I was uninstalling all the NVE add-ons I've previously installed. One-by-one via NVE-supplied uninstallers. I was testing the game after each uninstalled package. No success. After I'd uninstalled all, I checked dlclist.xml for some reason, and I realized, that there were multiple duplicated entries from NVE. NVE uninstaller packages are not removing entries from the DLC list and also files themselves from the directory structure.

So, I've removed duplicities from dlclist.xml, and tested - the problem is solved. Last but not least I've installed all NVE addons I am using back, and the game is still working. 🙂

What is interesting, is that NVE has also an addon called "LSPDFR Compatibility Patch", which indicates that it has to be installed separately, but if you install only base NVE packages you can see also

<Item>dlcpacks:/NVE_lspd/</Item>

entry in your DLC list and patch installation itself does not add any new entries to the list.

So, @ThiccWine you can try to check the same thing.

Tried looking at DLCList and it worked for me, thanks. I couldn't see Rockford hills or the entirety of the north-east of the map. Seems something is messed up with NVE. I installed NVR instead and honestly think I like it more and it doesn't break the map. Thanks!
