hi all, im a newbie here

ive just purchased gta 4 and been watching a few videos on youtube about the lcpdfr

can peeps tell me what i need to download and install for mods like the trainer to change and spawn cars and lights etc in game

Look it the forums it tell you alot on how to mod to get what you need alot of people have posted the same also when you download the lcpdfr either .91 or .95 they help you with script hook and other things needed

Probably because its stable

I have little problems with .95, plus it contains a lot more features, also it is more secure as .91 stores ur username and password in plain text, where .95 uses a secure key method.

Yea, and I don't think the trainer is necessary either for a noob.  It just messes with my install....I have to turn it on, make my changes, then turn it off and remove the files (I just use bkup at the end of the filename) for it not to cause lag.  I just needed it to slow down the game time so my day last longer (7sec per in-game minute is my setting, instead of 2sec).  Other than that, it's useless to me.  

 

But you do need the tow script, police helper and coroner mod for sure.  I use several others, but if I was installing new, that'd be pretty much all I'd use (oh and RTCv4).

I recommend Braveheart's policing script, and any of the vdH mods, like the METT and K-9 scripts, they really enhance the game when it comes to policing and LCPDFR, I also recommend LCPDFR version.95 RC2, not .91, even though 91 is stable, it lacks some really good features that are only on .95

More stable, I have constant problems with it so I'm running .91. I just thought it would be better for a starter and I'm sorry I caused contraversy
