FATAL ERROR: Out of video memory help!

Featured Replies

Everything was good for gta iv until after like 5 times of playing it,  then when the game launched niko appeared the game crashed and said FATAL ERROR: out of video memory and it does that every time i load the game now.  Is there an easy way to fix this?

Did you just install an ENB? I had this problem shortly after installing mine. I had to take it out, go in-game, reduce my graphics settings, re-install the ENB then it worked fine. Not sure if this can help or not. But it is all I can do to help.

Try turning up your "Texture Resolution" in the graphics menu. I was having this problem and turning up that setting fixed it.

i tried to lower graphics and stuff and it still pops up like 3 seconds after the game loads any other suggestions?

Don't lower the settings, raise them, do what NickieB said above.
