Texture loss issue?

Featured Replies

So when I play in multiplayer with my lcpdfr clan I sometimes get texture loss and have to reboot the game. It's extremely annoying.

System specs:

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7950 3 gb of dedicated memory

CPU: 4 cores i5-2390T 2.7 GHz.

RAM: 8 gbs

We all have the same exact mods installed. What makes me lose the textures? It's really annoying.

Some mods and packs can cause texture loss as theyare sometimes HD/HQ cars. Just try lowering your graphics a notch or two and that should make the world of difference.

Sadly texture loss is an extremely common problem with no permanent fix...

GTA IV is a huge RAM hog, and using HQ cars, and ELS cars as they are high poly, and bigger files, it can cause the game to eat up all your ram, and with only 8GB, it will go by fast. Also if you use a lot of mods it will suck it up.
