Hello, I downgraded my game to 1.0.7.0 and installed the LCPDFR v1.1. But I saw lot of problems on installing process. Firstly when I use the LCPDFR v1.1’s ScriptHook.dll and AdvenceHook.dll, the keybinds are changing and they shows me some keys in the left corner, but the real game keys is different from the keybinds. I downloaded the fix patch (Compatibility Patch v0.4) but when I use the fix patch’s files, game going on crash because of the CompleteEditionHook.asi file. If I delete this file from root, game is starting without problem but this time the keybinds is changing. I’m using LCPDFR v1.0 at the moment and I don’t have any problem about that. However I want to use LCPDFR v1.1, what can I do about this problems. Thanks!

2. use LCPDFR V1.1 NON LEGACY VERSION[SCROLL DOWN, IT SHOULD BE ABOVE 1.0]
3. use [Non Legacy] LCPDFR V1.1 Scripthook and advancedhook
4. launch the game [dont use steam]

Edit: If anyone use this method, the “taser gun” will remove from game.

 

Solution:

 

 

^ it wont be removed from the game, it shouldnt and it wasnt when i used the method, if the taser was removed, you installed lcpdfr incorrectly

I mean if I change the advancehook.dll or scripthook.dll. I can't use the taser gun. When I press "t" key twice there is happen nothing.

Alt+T, pressing t twice does nothing

Thanks. That is the one I used, sadly the game crashes after a few minutes playing on my end... did you do something special with it to make it work?

I use xlive and downgraded my game save too. Maybe you're crashing because of a car or a weapon model. Run the lcpdfr diagnostics tool and see if anything is in red. You might be missing something for Windows or there's a high chance what car or weapon you are trying to use causes the game to bug out.

I tried it without any weapon or car mods, just vanilla, and it also crashed.

 

I didn't try the diagnostics tool. I will try that. Also I will try a different save game. Thanks for trying to help me.

The diagnostics tool said there is an error in the LCPDFR log, but the only error I found there was the error with the connection to the server of LCPDFR, which is not the cause of the problem I think. Also, there are warnings about invalid settings entries, but it does not say which are invalid. I changed nothing in the settings. Everything else is green.

 

Also, I tried a different savegame, it still crashes.

 

I also tried to start TBoGT, but here I am not able to create as savegame because my game crashes in the first mission when I drive across the city. Same issue, it freezes for a few seconds and then it is crashed to desktop.

 

If I remove LCPDFR then everything works and I am able to create a TBoGT savegame. I think the AdvancedHook.dll is not working with the downgrader. But I don't know. I tried everything really.

Tbogt and TLAD are extra-unstable with LCPDFR ive noticed, it also depends which downgrader you used, some downgraders have more stable games than others

 

You might want to use zolika's downgraders on zolika1351.pages.dev

Interesting, I was wondering if I did something wrong. Sometimes I wish GTA IV had never been updated...

I was looking on his page under GTA IV but could not find his downgrader. Can you send me a link?

 

Nevermind, I found it. Thanks for sending me the website. I tried it but it still crashes after a few minutes. Same problem. I tried different savegames, different downgraders, everything. I think it just doesn't work on my PC for whatever reason. It doesn't seem to crash when I am removing AdvancedHook.dll, but this is needed for LCPDFR and I only want to play LCPDFR so that will not work.

After days of testing I found the problem, I think it is ELS- or the amount of mods I am using. With almost no mods and without ELS it does not seem to crash.
