GTA IV Goes Into Slow Motion Every 15 Seconds?

Featured Replies

Whenever I

play GTA IV on my computer It enters slow motion for like 5 seconds then goes back to normal for like 30 seconds then back slow motion and so on. Any help or suggestion on how I can fix it if that means buying something to upgrade for my computer. Heres an example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmj4GadUleE , Thanks!

what gfx card are you using, and what settings are you running GTA IV on, also is there anything else running in the background?

I'm guessing that your running a laptop then, and that's a integrated graphics card. I suggest try clicking on auto configure, and running it at the suggested specs for your computer, and if it is a laptop, there is nothing really you can do for upgrading at all.

I'm not on a laptop, im on a desktop. And I have already tried that.

Try going into the Control Panel and looking for the CPU or Processor settings and setting the PC to run at best performance, because (not 100% sure) I think most PC's are set to best look.
