ASI Problems

Featured Replies

Well I've done this before but on my new computer I cant seem to get the ASI loader to work

I cannot use dsound because it just puts me in an endless loop with rockstar social.

I've tried 1.0.7 and I have downgraded to 1.0.4 and still no luck

Any ideas of what I am doing wrong?

All the scripts are in the correct folder, I can get in game with xliveless but still no console or lcpdfr

Thanks

When I updated the patch to 1.0.7 I was able to get the game to start with dsound but still no luck,

Im going to try the link you gave me,

I cannot update it because I'm running windows 8

But I am running 3.5 and 4.5 for .netframework

I think you have to have dsound, or some equivalent .dll.  Not exacty sure, I installed that stuff a while back, but remember having problems due to no dsound in my install.  Once I popped that in had no more issues with the game or mods (may have been the mscvr100d.dll file...can't recall...but was one or the other).

EDIT:  I just checked my install and I disabled dsound, and used xliveless.dll instead as well as the mscvr100d.dll file I had to find in one of the lcpdfr posts.  I think that may be your issue, as I had the same problem until I was able to get those files into my install.

Good day,

Alright well I got the game to work with dsound and I used simple trainer just to test it out, I guess its not the ASI loader but lcpdfr itself, Im using the .95 one and following the onscreen instructions for the install but still nothing in game and yes I am hitting alt + P

I cant go back to the 91 version because i am running windows 8 and there is no way to use that installer,

Anyone got a zip of lcpdfr they can shoot me so i can see if im missing any files?
