Recently bought some new components for my pc (Intel Core I5, 16 GB Dualchannel DDR2 RAM, and MSI R7950 twin frozr 3024MB) and now fancy playing GTA V in the highest resolution with the highest settings.

 

Installed it, downloaded some mods to make it look nicer including iCEnhancer 2.1 and a better_textures_mod which did made it look a bit nicer, but then came across this, and despite the installing going ok it just wouldn't start.
Read the faq on here and decided to go for a new clean, mod-free installation of GTA IV, which i've just done, and LCPDFR works fine now, and i think it's bloody marvelous.

 

However i would like to enhance the graphical side of the game a bit again, so is there a list on here somewhere with graphic mods that do work with LCPDR, or maybe people can tell me what they use ?

Anything that works with 1.0.7.0 will work with LCPDFR installed. They shouldn't conflict it all. 

Cheers, i've got version 1.0.7.0 but am struggeling a bit.

I installed that unmarked bmw 5 series with the little beacon on the roof, but the lights/beacon didn't work at all. Then i followed that tuturial on here and downloaded that "ASI-ELS_EMERGENCY_LIGHTING_SYSTEM_V6_GPM"  but it still didn't work properly, i would go on, but stay on and i couldn't switch it off.

I then installed this other police car (london met ford focus) and those lightbars didn't work at all, so i installed that "ENB-NO CONFLICT WITH LCPDFR 0%2e95" mod but it still wasn't any better, so just deleted the whole folder and recovered the original install with the lcpdfr mod, and am going to start over.

So do i need an ELS and and ENB mod to get those lights to work properly or is one better then the other ?

Also, i had to add that "-norestriction -nomemrestrict" bit to my launchgtaiv.exe so i could change to resolution from 800 x 600 to 1920 x 1080.  Should i still run it with those, or are there better promts to run it on a high-end machine ?

Yea managed to get the lights and ELS business to work as it should now. 

Just want a nice graphic enhancer now to make it all look a bit nicer, and still trying to find out what parameters (like -nomemrestric etc) to run best.

Command lines will probably just restrict your computer.  If you have a decent machine (you do), you don't need that crap.

You have to modify the emissive field for lights to look right (google radiance mod bxbug)

 

enb will massively dim the lights over stock gta making it even more important to bump up the emissive section
