Hey! When I try launching my game this window pops up 

Normally a simple revert to your saved backup via rage would correct the error..  but for some time Rockstar has required Social Club verification to launch.
The old tricks do not work, and I just came back myself recently, and offline play is not even an option nor is bypassing the Club verification.
I have no idea if it is now a possibility or not.

Standing by for more info, but the net says.. Rockstar claimed this was a ' glitch '.
I doubt it.

Have to wait on a new Ragehook update I guess. 😕 

I did some digging and found the source of the problem. GTA V has a new update.

Yup... LOL.. pardon, I thought you realized that.. 😛 yeah.. and the old tricks do not work now. 😞  Freaking R.S.games....

Seems the steam version doesnt have this issue

 

You can just play GTA San Andreas in the meanwhile 

Good luck with a downgrade working. Launcher requires update from my steam version... <shrug>

I donno how you all cant play, I copied the full (working) directly , let gta 5 update , then replace the update with the full copy i made, and my game works

new to LSPDFR and I just barely got a working game with the vehicles I enjoy and all the plugins req for a real FR experience. Played all night last night having a blast issuing tickets with ALPR and receiving callouts from several of the popular plugins. Was very much so looking forward to gaming tonight but woke up to an automatic update for GTA, now getting the unsupported message on boot up 😞 I think I have backup I will try here shortly but if not how long typically does it take for plugin updates follow a game update? days, weeks, months??

LSPDFR useually takes a few day, the other needed mods (well not needed for LSPDFR but needed for ELS and the mod folder) like scripthookV can take longer , the creator of scripthook is in the warzone iirc and last time it took 1 week, there was also one time where he took a month cuz of the war, so your best bet is to try a backup

the way i did my backup was i copyied the full GTA 5 folder to a differnt drive, let the game update, renamed the updated game to GTA 5 - BAD NOT WORKING, then copyied over my backup to the orginal place it was (in my case , c drive - steam) and then ran the game useing the rage plugin exe (not the play button on steam, doing this WILL auto update your game again i think) and i was able to take the screenshot in the post above (my backup is a few patches old too btw , thats why in the screenshot its saying that there is a new lspfr avail, ignore that lol)

I fixed this by opening rage plugin hook and reverting my game. This still did not let me play so then I went into an older backup I had and dragged the following 4 files into my GTA directory. This should fix your game as well.

Funny how now I'm seeing everywhere the importance to have a backup file haha 😕 bit late but I learned my lesson.

 

I found a BCKP file from 12/22. I installed and moved all my plugins over ( basically restarted my file build with that 12/22 version ) but still got the error message at Rage launch?? IDK really strange. I'll attempt to re-work it again tonight but have a feeling I'll just have to wait for the updates to come in.  

 

I have an EXT 4T SSD that I have started creating my Steam game backup folder for all my games for any future issues. Also turned OFF auto updates on my games.
