Ever since i installed LCPD:FR i cannot play GTA IV for more than 5 minutes before the map just disappears and then the map is just invisible ?

How do i keep my map from doing this, my pc is fine as i get like 30-40 fps so thats extremely well.

I had same problem for long time. I reinstalled and didnt add any civilianl cars, I only added the police cars only and it works like a dream now.

It hapens to me aswell but i get bout 15mins playing time before map disappears, sometimes it comes back, Most of the time it dont. I got that GTA IV Supreme Vehicle Conversion Pack -=140 vehicles=-.

Take Vehicle Conversion Pack out and you will see the diffrance pal. Modeled cars you pun into the game use more memory.

Meh, I've said it time and time again, the GTA IV engine was not designed for huge hi-poly car modifications. If you use one of these, expect to see horrible, horrible bugs... not only with LCPD:FR, but with general GTA IV gameplay too.

You can try this commandline:

-percentvidmem 100

-frameLimit 0

-noprecache

It helped me a bit to fix the memory leak.

The only real solution is to run an unmodded game. GTA IV was built not to be modded.
