What are the minimum requirements needed to run this game? I think I got things downloaded and installed correctly. The game came on, I was able to play for a brief moment, then crash. I go to open it now and it just stays on the "Loading..." screen. I am running off a laptop. Kind of minimal. Getting my finances together to upgrade my laptop/PC. Hoping I can still play in the meantime. 

 

I have been waiting for a game like this since I was a kid. Law enforcement and EMS family, I took a different career path, however, I still remember my dispatch and field training. I am super eager to play just need to iron out these glitches. 

What are your laptops specs? Also i recommend the mods:

by using this you can adjust how much ram gta v uses so by using this it uses more on gta v causing less problems and quicker loading times. Also i do not suggest if you only have 8gb of ram this can make your pc unstable when playing.

Don't judge, lol. I have a gut feeling my laptop isn't strong enough. I ran Task Manager and saw my CPU at 100% during loading.

Suggestions on where to shop for decent gaming laptop? Nothing super crazy, just enough to efficiently run a program like LSPDFR. My limited free time will include this game for sure. 

Keep in mind that if you can run GTA comfortably with no stuttering or texture loss, you can run LSPDFR fine. LSPDFR itself wouldn't be the issue for texture problems or stuttering, it would be more the addon cars and any assets that you add into the game.

Intel UHD Graphics are usually a no for gaming. Intel -G series tend to be lower power laptops. Generally, any laptop with a recent NVIDIA dGPU or AMD integrated graphics will play it well enough.

You can usually shop around, and when you see a laptop that looks appealing, stick whatever GPU it has into YouTube with GTA V, e.g. "NVIDIA 3050 GTA V laptop" and you'll usually see people testing it on a very similar system.

Sounds like you would love this game.  It is really cool playing the LEO side on a like this GTAV with the graphics GTA has.  Unfortunately, that does mean a decent GPU card.  Like Cyan said the Integrated Graphics aren't going to cut it.  Your i3 and 1.2 GHz is weak for gaming also.  Save up and shop around.  There should be some great deals this time of year.
