Loading LSPDFR causes crash

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! I've been having some troubles loading up LSPDFR as a plugin. I can load into the game with RHP fine, but loading LSPDFR causes my game to crash entirely. I've attached my latest log. This is a fresh GTAV install that i've loaded into, I don't have any other scripts or plugins aside from lspdfr. I have scripthookV scripthookdotnet, the OpenIV api's, and the latest RAGEUI. A few solutions I've tried:

- Turning off my entire windows antivirus system

- Using the manual download

- Uninstalling and reinstalling LSPDFR

- Loading RHP after loading the game to the menu

- Changing gameconfig.xml

- Checking "Force Windowed Mode" and "Force DirectX 11" in RHP

- Disabling geforce overlay and Steam overlay

I am running the latest LSPDFR and GTAV version, they're authentic, I am screaming internally at this issue.

So, the problem is OpenIV Asi Manager. I'm not sure why it's causing crashes, but it does. Really odd. If anyone has any idea, let me know! Otherwise, LSPDFR works without it.

ASIManager manages the plugins such as OpenIV.asi and ASILoader.

OpenIV.asi gives support to your mods folder. I am guessing you disabled that; If you disable OpenIV.asi it won't give support to your mods folder meaning it won't work. The problem was most likely your mods folder.

AFTER DAYS OF STRUGGLES I'VE FOUND THE ISSUE!! I believe it's the latest ScripthookDotNet. Idek if we need to use it anymore but OpenIV.asi and the scripthookdotnet asi DO NOT WORK TOGETHER! I was about to reinstall my entire windows. I tried so many different solutions. Finally - I can LSPDFR once again. FOR Future people who find this thread; Update to your latest windows update - try downgrading your graphics card driver by a few months - or get rid of that damn Scripthookdotnet asi. Bless.

Edit: Also turn off Windows Virus and threat protection. That seems to have an effect as well.

No. Never deactivate your AV. Do not downgrade your Graphics drivers

ScriptHookVDotNet and OpenIV.asi do work together.

ScriptHookVDotNet does have random crashing issues as a result of a critical design flaw that have been reported to their team, but still haven't been fixed. It wouldn't surprise me if OP was affected.

Ah. Thank you for the correction.
