non-standard problem with RPH and game version

Featured Replies

hi all. I want to start with the most serious problem I've encountered since the last update in October (2699.16 patch). the problem is that when you start the RPH, it just crashes and the game closes. I found out that this is due to the fact that, in some miraculous way, the RPH sees my game as purchased on Steam, when in fact it is a license from Rockstar. now a slightly less important issue. after patch 26 updates... and more, when running the game with RPH, my game showed at startup that it was running with patch 2545. I did my own "investigation" and found that after removing the ScriptHook, the game showed the correct patch again, but without SkripHook you can't play with mods, as we know, and that's why I played on patch 2545. the most strange situation. I remind you that the game is licensed and purchased on the Rockstar website. I'll attach the RPH log below if that helps.

ok guys, after another investigation and studying the forums, I found out that I had the previous build of LSPDFR installed. I fixed the first problem with the RPH, but I'm still wondering why on patch 2699.16 the game starts with patch 2545. I'll attach a screenshot below.

Yes, as I wrote at the very beginning, the problem was solved by installing a fresh build of LSPDF, but the issue remains in the version of the patch with which the game is launched. I have attached a screenshot above that shows version 2545 in the lower right corner, although the version in the launcher is 2699.16

It could be the version is potentially a non-updated string? I note you are using the Russian translation, perhaps they have not updated the language string because RPH is saying the game EXE still matches the up-to-date version.

wow, I did not expect that one of the creators of LSPFR would leave a comment in my thread. yes, I actually had that thought. must try and leave feedback

Ah I just re-read your post and you mention that the string is the expected one if you do not have scripthookv (i'm guessing you removed dinput8.dll)?

Might be your mods folder has old data.

no no, everything is fine with ScriptHook, I downloaded everything I need and all the installed mods work for me. now the main problem is patch versions. as you wrote earlier, you need to try changing the language to English. it's half past three right now, so I'll try it closer to noon
