Multiplayer Problem

Featured Replies

Hey forum,

I keep having this problem playing MP with LCPDFR. I manage to play about 15 minutes of gameplay fine, nice frame rate, smooth play, not lag, and then it just turns off and says "You have been disconnected because your computer is running too slowly". It is fine my computer so what is happening?

Might be your internet. If you have played with other players, you could try to make your own server and play alone in there and see if it still says that, or ask one of your friends to make a server where you could join and test if it still says that.

But Ive actually played LCPD:FR a few times in multiplayer but me and my friends only had LCPD:FR, weapon mods and a few car mods. Nothing else, so maybe if you have like scripts mods, graphics mods etc those may make the game say that

No, my internet is fine like 100%. I only have 3 car mods, no weapon mods, trainer and ELS. All my setting are turned to low...

Oh.. Well I just updated that comment :P

Okay, will give that a try. I have tried that once before but the game wouldn't let trainer work or anything.

Try hosting the game.

I have friends who cannot play unless they are hosting lol

Yeah that happens to me, sometimes I need to host but sometimes I need to be on a wired connection or to be on fiber optic :/

I just hosted a game and played for ages without crashing. That was on my own though, will have to test hosting and playing alongside other people.
