Suggestions for new subfora

Featured Replies

I would suggest a new sub-forum in LSPDFR 0.4 Support  ( and perhaps even in LSPDFR 0.3 Support )
The sub-forum should simply be named something like "Game-crash-issues".
And should be excursively for post about the game crashing.  It would separate the most common posts in LSPDFR 0.4 Support  witch is post about crashing, from anything that is not about crash-issues, and make those few posts stand out. Atm they are buried under loads of crash-help-requests.
The crash-section could also have a pinned "Have you tried to.." section, where the most common reasons for crashing could be listed.
I believe that structure could reduce the number of posts in general.

Let me know if you find it interesting.
Best Regards.

LSPDFR 0.3 is no longer supported, and the forum is locked.  I believe they're keeping it as more of an archive.

It's a good idea, but people don't read shit. A good majority of people ignore the LSPDFR support section and post their LSPDFR issue in GTA V support.  Don't get me started on the people who post support topics in " modding information" or "vehicle modification showroom". These people have the mentality of 'I will post wherever I want and be damned of reading anything proper.'  If implemented, this would just make more work on the staff team, to be honest.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

That is a shame. I have noticed that crash-issues are posted everywhere, but then perhaps make it reversed? Creating a sub-forum where non-crash-issues should be posted specifically.
That forum could be a subforum for LSPDFR 0.4 Support

If that structure was implemented, then posting-fools would be 'caught' in LSPDFR 0.4 Support because that would be the first thing they see 🙂
And those that actually think before posting a support-request, could post in the non-crash-issue-forum.
Idk..
I just miss a functional forum structure, where other types of issues could be found easyer 🙄

There already is a structure, but I think you're having issues understanding it. I also think you might be confused about LSPDFR versions.

LSPDFR 0.3 is an old version of LSPDFR, look at the name 0.3.

0.4 is the current version, which you can ask for help with in the dedicated forum - https://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/920-lspdfr-04-support/

It's a great idea, but as Reddington said you are limited by what people are going to bother reading.

Another issue is that most of the people posting in the LSPDFR forum have no idea what their issue is or how to discriminate a difference between a game crash or LSPDFR/plugin crash.
I'd say something like 75% of issues are literally they installed a bad vehicle or other game data mod and they've broken their game, but attribute the crash to LSPDFR or RPH.
