I can't seem to get past the "populating game world" part of the startup. Game will load if I disable the mods folder. I've tried reinstalling a custom gameconfig and made sure I had all the requirements also installed. I recently upgraded toa new laptop. All the mods and everything still work on my old one, so I'm not sure why it isn't working on the new one. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

one way to narrow down where your problems are coming from is to restore back ups but do it a single file at a time. so start with the custom game config. get the default and replace the custom with it. if no more issues then you know theres an error with the file. then just continue the process until you find out what file is causing it.

The gameconfig from my understanding needs updating - so the current one will not work.

After more research this is not the case.

do you have the heap adjusters installed as well?

also the gameconfig may not be the only issue if there are other issues you may need to restart your mods folder...

Yes, I did install those also, those are always the first things I make sure to download whenever I do a new install on everything haha

then there must be something else wrong in your mods folder. it is impossible for us to diagnose...

So far I've had to delete a few packs. like JMsahp, and a few other his other packs. Even trying to re-download them will cause a crash. Its very strange
