Hi all,

 

I tried to install some vehicles models and textures using OpenIV, but I think I might have messed up along the way as everytime I launch the game it now crashes. Could someone please guide me through how to restore the files on OpenIV to before I modified them?

Just remove the replaced files. It should then restore it self. If not, verify game through steam.

Thanks but it didn't fix it, the plug in still crashes on launch.

Try replace the same files with a different car mod? And if you have a mod folder. Just replace the folder with your orginal patchday. 

 

Also, just a tip. If i add cars, i always add them 1 by 1. Testing them ingame if i like them or if they bug. 

 

If your crash really happened after replacing or adding a car. Replacing the same file with the orginal or a different far mod should work for sure.

 

Does your game work when starting normally? So not with RPH.
