Alright so bought a new laptop, Dell XPS, its great. Does litterally everything I need it to do except run GTA. I get a WS10 error everytime. Does anyone know how to make this stupid thing go away? Would love to play again.

You need to reinstall/update Games for Windows Live. 

where do i go for the update? i have tried reinstalling same thing happens

Here is the patch http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/484496-grand-theft-auto-iv-patch-7-title-update-v-1-0-7-0-english-1-0-6-1-russian-1-0-5-2-japanese drag the media, titleupdate, and updatetitle to your game directory then open titleupdate.

@lilmar. That is the patch, not windows live. Plus, you don't need to move the files into the GTA directory when updating.
