Headlights problem

Featured Replies

For some reason, The extra headlight on all police and vanilla civillian vehicles is stuck on, The main bulb in the headlights turn on, high and off as normal as do all rear lights on every vehicle but for some reason the small headlight above, below or around the main light of the vehicles seem to be constantly on, Ive tried replacing visualdata and the els.ini thus far nothings worked, Might mean a fresh install but thought I'd ask first, Just in case.

You don't need to do a fresh install of everything just because the lights doesn't turn off on certain vehicles; but it's totally up to you.

Perhaps try to install a different vehicle model if the light really bothers you. It has nothing to do with ELS or VisualSettings.

Its on every single vehicle with an extra headlight, So the vapid stainer doesn't have this issue but the huntley does, As do most of my modded vehicles and most higher end cars, It doesnt bother me too much but it is annoying

Weridly yes both are edited however this issue started occuring randomly as oppose to right after an edit, I have tried default gta visualsettings I have not tried reverting meta, Should I try using a vanilla vehicles.meta file?

And thank you, For your time, I appreciate it.

^ That looks like a "daytime running light."

But regardless, if you have LSPDFR installed, press "M" open the menu, go to "Vehicle," and turn off the headlight.

Any way to switch it off? Got gta open, Opening m and heading to the vehicle menu only allows me to switch off and on the headlights, Which works as normal its just these daytime running lights that seem stuck on regardless of time or what state the vehicle is in, Only thing that works is switching off the engine entirely

Does the light stays on all the time regardless of the time of the day?

You don't have any mods/scripts that changes the way how vehicles function?

Yep all day and night, No scripts either only lspdfr and recent callouts
