I downloaded GTA 4 from Gamestop.com yesterday, and today I downloaded everything I need, but when I did the diagnostic check, this is what happened. What do I do?

Did you tried to run it as administrator? Also check that all the files on GTAIV folder aren't in read only mode.

i made the files not read only . i dont know how to make myself admin

Just do a right-click on the diagnostics tool and click "Run as Administrator". But IIRC, this Crash does just appear if everything's fine. Does your game work?

now it does, thanks . i dont know how to aim or anything though, i was just driving and giving citations , but i'm going to look that up now
