Rambar question (Zmodeler)

So i have a car that i'm making for the FBI slot. I've read places that it's possible to make a part on a car spawn half the time with it, and half the time without it. Not sure how to phrase that any better...

Anyways, if this is possible, how do i go about setting it up in zmodeler?

Thanks a bunch

My knowledge of Zmodeler is extremely limited. I only picked it up a couple of days ago, but I can tell you this:

To make that possible, the rambar would have to be named as an extra, and because of the way ELS works, you wouldn't be able to have an ELS compatible car spawn with a 50/50 chance of it also having a rambar.

ELS works by adding/removing the 'extras' (with emissive textures) on a car in certain patterns, so if you have the rambar named as an extra, using it with ELS would make the rambar itself 'flash' on and off when ELS is enabled.

If you have no intention of making the car ELS compatible, then naming the rambar as an extra should do the trick. Better modelers than I can pick up from here or correct me if I'm wrong.

No need for all that. Just rename the parent dummy of the pushbar to extra_1. For example if its like this:

Pushbar

- Pushbar_L0

- Pushbar_L1

- Pushbar_L2

to

Extra_1

- Extra_1_L0

- Extra_1_L1

- Extra_1_L2
