Help with ELS lights on crusier

Featured Replies

Hopefully this this the right forum. I'm brand new.

I just recently installed LCPDFR and an ELS White Unmarked Crown. The missions work fine but the only problem I'm facing is that the lights on my cruiser do not fire up when I try to use them.

I've updated GTAIV, have LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 installed. I've added the files to the proper locations and did exactly like the readme stated. I've tried a few other cruisers that have the ELS function and still nothing on them. And yes I have SparkIV installed and used it to pack the wtd and wft in the vehicles.img file. The cruiser hows up but like I said, no strobes.

If I use a regular LCPD cruiser lightbar fires all three modes like it should.

I've checked the asi files to see if they were updated and everything seems to be fine there.

I've searched high and low for an answer to this problem and so far, and please bare with me I'm a noob to the ELS function so hoping someone can shed some light (pun intended) on the situation.

Love the unmarked and black & whites but game doesn't seem all that cool with no lightbar flashing.

An I missing something?

You need the actual ELS Files. The lighting modes that come with LCPD:FR are just for non-ELS vehicles for those who don't like ELS.

You can download ELS from: http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=196

If you have them already, make sure that the vehicle you've installed the slot in (ie. Police, Police2, etc) is set to "active = 1"
