If you could hang out with some of the Americans on here Slimory, I'm sure you'd be a little more upbeat about us. I think most people of any country are generally assholes. Western, Eastern, whatever. I used to be a firm believer that most people in this world are good, honest people who would at the drop of a hat help people in need. After just a few years of being an adult, I can honestly say I'm a glass half empty person about society. Most people piss me off and generally don't care about anything or anyone but themselves. That being said, I've ran into a few nice people along the way, which prevents me from becoming a total sociopath.

I'm not saying that i couldn't change my mind about them, i generally get an attitude about them cause my way of life and their way of life clash, people are brought up differently, but most americans i find have that "you owe me" kind of attitude, and i'm sure people could say the same about me, but my problem is, i really don't care what others think of me lol like me or not, i'm a proud canadian.

And therein lies the answer; The very people who you regard their opinions to mean squat, think the same of you and yours. That's why you'll both have problems with each other. Find a few of the good ones and to hell with the rest. You don't need an opinion of random people who won't affect you. Like I said, I hate most of my own countrymen not due to where they're from, but as you said; how they're brought up, and how it influences their behavior.

This goes back to the first page, everyone flips out and issues tons of negative rep whenever someone says something negative about Obama posting "Leaving the rants off of here" and no negative stuff but then people say Romney can piss on a rope and suck on the other end of it and people see that as okay.

I find that quite ridiculous.

Really? Because only 3 posts have negative net rep. Two of them only have -1, and the third is

yep four more years of satan and the facist police state

which is not really what one might call a "productive contribution".

EDIT: More important point: Don't worry about rep. It really doesn't matter (and the admins have come close to deleting it entirely several times).

That being said, unless anyone else has something that would be a meaningful contribution to the subject matter of U.S. President Barack Obama, then I think this thread's all set. lol
