As far as I'm aware, there are no released FD Mods yet, but yes, there have been a few announcements in the past. Didn't see any results though ...

One is being made by Mordecki and another is in the works from Grady Featherstone, both of them are on GPM. They both are going to be featuring a variety of calls and are showing promising results.

I do like the looks of Grady's but I was talking to him the other day and he's got hooked on skinning and is playing with that for a while before returning to scripting.

I have heard that someone on GPM is working on a Fire Dept. mod but it is in very early stages of development.
